first of all just cuz weve decided at some point to measure a distance between 2 points n how long it takes to get from point 1 to point 2 in what we call space thus inventing a linear time (aka past-present-future) it doesnt mean that’s a real reality… what it is – is an illusion that past is past, as something behind us or something that happened but is no longer part of us thus its separate from us (the same with future) … its just a name we created to describe something we don’t understand but even for a moment if we take it as real - so a person named Bandi is representing humanity on earth in linear time. So at 5pm Bandi starts walking from starbacks (point 1) crossing a street n walking into wholefoods (point 2)…

so if in d middle of the street in linear time:

1. starbacks = past
2. crossing a street = present
3. wholefoods = future

once Bandi arrives at wholefoods - its no longer in the future but in the present so point 1 and 2 both become past

now zoom out n imagine ur sitting on planet Mars where u r able to watch this from above.  like a movie.  so lets say ur watching a "movie" for the first time in real time at 5pm… 1-2-3 (starbucks-crossing-wholefoods) - now while ur watching, those events r happening in a real here and now so to speak time cuz ur experiencing them now.  - then lets say at 8:30pm u gonna rewind and press play again.  so ur watching 1-2-3 (starbucks-crossing-wholefoods) again... now is this for u happening in the "past" or again in here and now?!...  of course any movie we watch (or re-watch) its like in here and now... cuz we r experiencing the moment with every scene...  now lets go back to our main character Bandi...  lets say at 8:30pm Bandi decides to think about the day n event at 5pm…  so using logic, Bandi should also experience it as here and now when thinking about what happened at 5pm – no difference – the only difference is that Bandi is a regular earthly person thus even in the structure of a language is using linear time explanation so at 8:30pm will say that at 5pm those very events happened in the past… and that’s the only place it exists… in the language – the rest is an illusion (to think there is past or future)

conclusion.  Since there is no such a thing as linear time but only here and now, thus purpose whether crossing a street, changing the world or playing chess, makes no difference...  and we are part of the universe like a hand is part of the body, so if Bandi’s purpose is to cross the street (feet), Gaia’s purpose to change the world (right hand), Uberman’s purpose to play chess (left hand), so is the purpose of the body – aka multi-tasking Universe!

Appendix: there is another topic of attachments and folding the space to a single point when letting go of the linear time with the power of our collective minds but it’s a whole different topic, which I’ll write later n more details in the book.
